A rapid response to an emergency situation can save a life and the Basic Life Support course is ideal for anyone looking to gain basic first aid knowledge and skills,. The aim of the course is to train participants to deal with an unconcious casualty whether breathing or not breathing.


A certificate of attendence is issued.

Basic Life Support Training Course Outline

The Basic Life Support training course covers the different approaches to providing life support and minimising accidental harm caused in the process of resuscitation.

The Basic Life Support course covers:

  • Arriving at the scene
  • Primary survey
  • Recovery position
  • Secondary assessment
  • Resuscitation

Course Duration

The course is duration is 3 hours of theoretical training and practical activities.

Participant Restrictions

There is no minimum age for students for the Basic Life Support course. A maximum of 16 students can attend each course.
